We finally had our garage sale Friday

and Saturday. It was a huge success!

We made over $200, and had fun.

We plan on doing it again in a few months,

getting the entire block to participate.

Over the years the accumulation of junk is

amazing . The items purchased and received

as gifts clutter our closets and garages terribly.

I noticed Thursday the vast amount of storage

units being built and used by the public.

I think the American public is brainwashed

into buying crap and more crap daily.

Have a garage sale! It is a great way to meet

your neighbors and you get cash for crap that

should be tossed. But don't toss it. Leave it on

the curb or donate to your local Women's shelter or

The Freecycle Network(tm) - Changing the world, one gift at a time.

Stop shopping shoppers! Stop watching T.V.!

News for Columbus Day.

We have begun a daily regiment

of bicycle riding. Anet began riding

Sunday for the first time in 15 years.

I began again after nearly a year.

I crashed on the sidewlk scraping

my knee. (Not the same injured knee of '04)

Still riding but with some pain.

What about Columbus Day?

The dumbest holiday of the year?

Maybe this day should be Bush Day?
